 The Praja Rajyam party has decided to come out in support of the TDP MLA from Kovvur TV Rama Rao. The MLA has been booked in a case involving students in his college. The MLA was arrested and later released on bail. Rama Rao is now on a hunger strike demanding the dropping of the case against him. Rama Rao says that he has been wrongly implicated in the case. The PRP has decided to come out in support of Rama Rao. The PRP leaders say that if an MLA is subjected to such harassment then what will happen to the common man? The MRPS too has come out in support of Rama Rao.
