The TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao called on Chiranjeevi to offer his condolences. Chiranjeevi’s father passed away four days ago but a steady stream of visitors continues to call on Chiranjeevi even now. Chiranjeeevi remained virtually incommunicado after his daughter Srija ran away from and got married. But the death of K Venkat Rao, father of Chiranjeevi has given an excuse for all and sundry to call on Chiranjeevi on the pretext of offering their condolences. KCR is reported to have spent nearly an hour with Chiranjeevi Allu Aravind was also present on the occasion. The talk of Chiru launching his own political party in a couple of month’s time is sending shivers down the spine of the top brass in the TDP. There is some negative wave in the state against the ruling congress government. The negative vote would have naturally gone to the TDP. But with the prospect of Chiranjeevi entering politics, the TDP fears that a majority of the negative vote would now be diverted to his party. The fans of megastar Chiranjeevi are very angry and upset with the congress. The reason for their ire is that some huge flexi board panels of Chiranjeevi that were erected by the fans have been damaged by congress party workers in Vijayawada. At some places, the congress workers are said to have damaged, torn, burnt and even removed them altogether. The Chiru fans allege that it was done as chief minster YS Rajashekar Reddy was coming to Vijayawada.
